I Will Be With You

"I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you."

This is a verse from the Bible, Joshua 1:5, which was sent to me through email when I checked mail. It's nice for me to read it, especially at this time, now.

These few weeks are really busy. I've never seen my mom for 3 weeks, I've never been out with Bran for more than a week, and don't know when I can only be free.

Tired. Lack of sleep.

But I am encouraged, strengthened by this verse. ;) The passage along with the mail was even more motivating.

As you keep crying out to the Lord, He will not disappoint you or ‘test you beyond what you can stand’ (1 Cor 10.13). This is how the Lord described Himself to Moses: "I am the LORD God. I am merciful and very patient with my people. I show great love, and I can be trusted. I keep my promises to my people forever, but I also punish anyone who sins” (Exo 34:6,7 CEV) .

When the Lord comes and meets you in your desperateness, you will experience His presence, His power and His promises. You will by faith hear the Lord saying to you, “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not fail you nor forsake you”. Jesus told His grieving disciples, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you” (Jn 14:18). If God said it ‘once’ it is enough to trust Him! If God said it twice, ‘How can you doubt Him any more!’ Hang on! Don’t despair, neither give up!

Amen! It's exactly what I needed to read now. I'm so happy things always come at the right time.

I will be strong, for He always ask us to "be strong and of good courage".
