Happy 51st birthday to Malaysia. May God bless you. :)
***
Now I have things to say:
Suddenly wasn't able to attend Harish and pals party at curve for countdown.
We wanted to go in a multiracial gang, Harish the indian Hazwan the malay Me the chinese! plus others as well! Wanted to go there rock with Malaysian flags~
But anyway last minute changes I FFKed.
So I went up to my condo 18th floor to watch fireworks!
Saw 7 fireworks from KL~ Although small, but yeah still happy to see it.
However, the one from sunway was satisfying! :) Very big!
Perhaps it's nearer to my house that's why!
Happy Merdeka everyone!
***
Now about me!
I am so happy today when I clicked my Facebook! Because I saw Hok Khim wrote one very touching line!
"I will never forget that. =) and the fact that barney starts at 5pm on TV3, before Ku Xin Lian." Why am I so happy about this? Because this was what we argued when we were 9 years old! 9 years old!! Weeks ago I actually walled him at facebook writting that he always bullied me and step on my drawing paper when we were young. And he never forget that. Oh my, nostalgic.
Good ol' pal at Vancouver. It's so sweet, imagining how small size I was back then, and how cute he used to look like eventhough he's tall. Seems like friends are really meant to be forever - even if you haven't met for years~~~~!!!
Sorry for updating all in one shot previously suddenly. I really hope those didn't frighten you.
But wasn't really free to update the past week! :)
Now, some random pics to share. After this I shall wait for another event to post! :) I drew this during class. Is it cute? I think I should really buy a sketch book.
I've been sketching here and there and it goes nowhere.
Being silly. This bear came all the way from Gold Coast - sayang dia betul~
Kiss kiss! (Chris Brown's Kiss Kiss playing in my mind haha!)
Okay for your information this Abang here is the one who makes drinks for us at our faculty.
I love him lah! He knows I always ask for teh-o-ice-limau and whenever there's no limau, he will give me a sad look even I haven't speak up. Then he would always say "Xie xie" or "Bu Ke Qi".
So funny~ Very nice friendly guy~ Always calls me whenever I pass by eventhough I don't order drinks. But he smokes lah wei.. I should call him to stop or not he'll have higher risk of lung cancer!
Me and one of my beloved dish from my faculty cafe - Telur Bistik!
Okay fine I agree. A camwhore actually shows more of her face rather than her Bistik.
Sorry. :(
I will take good pictures nxt time!!!
I am getting more professional in taking pictures of me sleeping. :PThe BOMB! This is my beloved lecturer - Dr Nasir!!! We were at computer lab having a lecture by one of his tutor and he also learned as well, so cute lah !!! He is really very cute, and VERY KNOWLEDGEBLE! Attending his class of epidemiology last semester was like attending a class with a combination of geology, english, history, life lessons, moral, and also some..dirty stories etc. And the way he laughs also a little bit cocky. :P But he is a FABULOUS LECTURER!
Everybody loves Dr. Nasir! But he always calls my name wrongly. :( Anyway, he's one fella nice to speak with, just like a friend!
Me and Gary! Yoish boyfriend, congratulations in winnning champion for that competition! :)
Too bad I didn't get to see you!
Girlfriends always take silly pictures. Thanks Siew Wei for always being there for me. :) I tried camwhoring in the dark! Looks not bad also! :P And I did another shot while was on the way to Malacca! Last but not least, I shot myself again before driving back from Malacca after sending my bro to his campus.
Shot myself shot shot shot.. I think one day I'll be shot down by my handphone camera!!!
But it's nice to camwhore - I love it.
I don't care if people says that I am in love with myself - because that is what we all should be.
He said I "might" have it. So I guessed it was a korean book.
But when I start to unwrap it, my heart pumped so fast when I saw one word - "BANG"
And then I started to go "Oh my god oh my god oh my god" as I unwrapped it even faster.
So it does, turn out to be

I screamed and screamed and screamed til Sze came into my room.
Tears oozed out at the end of my eyes because I was too happy, thanks Harish!
I think it's always teary when you want to buy something so badly but you can't buy it and your friends actually gave you unexpectedly.
Just like when Sze and the rest gave me Rain's CD and Full House soundtrack during my form 6 birthday, I wept a little too.
I was too HAPPY. Tears of joy!
Big Bang CD!!!!!!! Oh my gosh thinkin back the moments I opened it I feel very excited now also!CD wei CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And they actually included a miniature TOP for me to make it!
And TOP is my most favourite member in Big Bang!!!!!!!
My favourite picture of all, Seung Ri and G-Dragon~
Oh my oh my~
After viewing their 3rd mini album at Yesasia.com, I decided to save money so that I can buy all 3 albums one shot from there.
And this was totally a big surprise.
Beyond words, thanks bro~ :) Having you as such a great friend is really one of the best things in life!
24th of August is the birthday of 2 of my very good guy mates!
Kaiser and Harish!!!!
We went to Manhanttan Fish Market to...makan! What else, food lah. Sze got some token from Harish who jsut got back from India~ :) And Kaiser got his present from Harish as well! What a nicely packaged present! :)
Kaiser looks very happy!!!
Candles I bought for them.
Stucked it on the fish and the waiter actually offered to fire them, crazee~ Hehe, brave huh?
Lovely candles la, but it melted very fast! I think we didn't even sing a birthday song!
Very nice of the house to give free Tiramisu! And it's SUPER NICE!
According to Sze it's the best tiramisu she ever tasted.
A very nice shot taken! Thx Kaiser! :) And me, whooping in the tira~~~~misu into my mouth~ Yummy!
Really la peeps I think their tiramisu is really syok!
Then next we went to watch Spain fireworks at PICC.
Weather was "GREAT".
This time I didn't get to go up to the hall. So we watched from afar.
Sorry for this sucky post on the fireworks, it seems like no details at all.
And for the first time I saw people watching fireworks like this:
Deng, fireworks in the RAIN!
Anyway, it was one very great day! :)
It was greater when I reach home! Why? Read my next post! :)
Yeap coursematies went to MAHA to buy lots and lots of vegetables and stuffs.
So we decided to have a steamboat session at one of our units!
Above is just half of the ingredients lah~ Balls!!! Meat balls!! Fish balls!!!! Throw you into Tom Yam soup!! Yay!!! Super nice aroma!!!!!!!!! Snatch here snatch there~ The girls are all just snatching for the balls! See, Sze was so excited that she had her chopstick up and ready. And yeah, there were quite many of us there! :)
What a sumptous meal!!!
The ingredients were oh-so-heavenly-cheap!
Each of us just have to pay RM 2 plus for that dinner!!! Too bad lah peeps, MAHA ended already. Or not you all can go there buy more stuffs! :)
And eat like mad~:D
3RD update- Nutrition Course Night at Imperial Hotel 2008!
Hi ya~ :) Was not at a hotel so didn't make up much! :) Me and My junior! She's the course queen for last year's! Pretty right? Of course lah, senior pretty sure junior pretty~! Pey, me, Sze. Door gifts. Very creative! :) Okay so what happen here? Do you know what?! It was hella funny.
The seniors were supposed to open this celebration thingy at the front but it didn't work out.
Who knows when they got back it suddenly just exploded at our table!!
So yeah, clearing up the mess!
But Sean thought of re-using the ribbons to tie on Pey's hand instead.
Reuse!!!!! 5R!!!! So I reused also lah! I choose RED as to suit my scarf! :) pandai betul~~ Our first dish~ Then yeah, shark fin. I presumed it's .... half-fake la. :P Chicken! Roasted chicken! My favourite of all, PRAWNS!!!!!!!!!!! And sorry, this fish was already mostly eaten up~:P Juniors performing fashion show~ Singing~ LALALA~~ Alumni Yong Khai singing and performing his own songs. And many more cool and funny performances by the juniors which really cracks me up like hell. Their sketch was marvellous and creative and crazy! Their dances were amazing! Their candle performance was VERY TOUCHING!
I am very very impressed by the effort of the 1st year juniors have put in. How sad that not much of 3rd year juniors went to support them, only 4 of us! Well, I love you juniors!!! Thank you and Welcome!
Okay finally I have some free time. Now it's time for ALL MY UPDATES!!!!
1st. I went to this place at Taman Megah, called Relax Station for lunch with mom.
It serves Pan Mee. Be it dry or wet.
Food is better than hawker stalls', price is lower than hawker stalls', environment is more comfortable than hawker stalls', and even better - WIFI provided!!!It's cooling outside with the wind, and comfortable inside with the air-cond~
Really calling you to: "Relax-lah"
I ordered Dried Pan Mee with Prawn dumplings (As usual, I prefer dried ones!) Big Big dumplings!!!!3 of them! or 4? I forgotten. Oops! Fresh juice for both me and my mom. It's VERY FRESH. No kidding. And it's so much more worth it for its portion! Compared to those sold at Ming Tin Food court! I love fried wantans!!! And they fried it so crispy and juicy inside! :)
Me love it love it!
Recommended!!
Cuz it's worth the price too!!!
RM14.60 for :
1 Pan Mee with Prawn Dumplings
2 Fruit Juices
1 Fried Wan Tan Side Dish
Not to forget:
Air Cond and WIFI!!! FOC!!
p/s : Is "Hawker" spelled like that? I felt so weird spelling it. Are there any mistakes??
Just finished my health promotion program at a high school for form 2 students yesterday. It was a very fun whole day! :) Very tiring in the end too! I will update asap! You would not wanna miss what we've done for the kids~ and I am so grateful for those proactive kids!!!
I have a lot to tell.. but not much time. Stick with popjammerzlife.blogspot.com for more of my life moments during last weekend:
1. Steamboating at coursemate's house 2. Relax station review 3. Course Night at Imperial Palace 4. Harish and Kaiser's birthday 5. Spain fireworks 6. My surprise present!! which made me went crazee!!!!
Yeap that's it! Very busy lah this week super busy week but i will keep in touch with all of you - HERE.
Everyone's frown up about Avril's cancellation. I read Prem or more wellknown as Falcon's post about it. Hey highly recommended, very funny lah the way he write and also..very true!
Well, seems like what I thought when I know she's coming was quite true. When I once heard the news I went : "Avril's coming, unbelievable!!!!" Because Beyonce wanted to come last time but was also rejected, so she went to Indonesia!!!
It happens to be true that it is still unbelievable she's coming. So fine, cancelled off now.
I don't think there's any difference between Avril and Jolin.
Why Jolin Tsai can come, wear all those hot pants and super bearing low cut attire, performing sexy dances yet Avril can't come with her pop rock style?
When is Malaysian gov going to be more... matured and stop thinking like they are only the one who has the rights to say. Do they actually watched or heard Avril singing?? How can they judge?? Do they know somehow her songs had change other people's live? They can't discriminate music in this way!
By cancelling one concert will not change a thing - we will still listen to her songs - and it'll be more frequent! That's how things will back fire.
Saw this picture at my bro's blog. He made it. Oh gosh, I think i'm losing out to him. No no I am going to do better ones! :P
Actually he wrote a nice article on "Love". Which he actually copied from wiki. Nyek nyek. But anyway it's okay, let's take it as a reference!:)
I super love the above pic
* The “amount” of love one experiences depends on the absolute strength of these three components; the “type” of love one experiences depends on their strengths relative to each other. Different stages and types of love can be explained as different combinations of these three elements; for example, the relative emphasis of each component changes over time as an adult romantic relationship develops. A relationship based on a single element is less likely to survive than one based on two or more.
1. Nonlove is the absence of all three of Sternberg's components of love. Liking/friendship in this case is not used in a trivial sense. Sternberg says that this intimate liking characterizes true friendships, in which a person feels a bondedness, a warmth, and a closeness with another but not intense passion or long-term commitment.
2. Infatuated love is pure passion. Romantic relationships often start out as infatuated love and become romantic love as intimacy develops over time. However, without developing intimacy or commitment, infatuated love may disappear suddenly.
3. Empty love is characterized by commitment without intimacy or passion. Sometimes, a stronger love deteriorates into empty love. In cultures in which arranged marriages are common, relationships often begin as empty love and develop into one of the other forms with the passing of time.[citation needed]
4. Romantic love bonds individuals emotionally through intimacy and physically through passionate arousal.
5. Companionate love is an intimate, non-passionate type of love that is stronger than friendship because of the element of long-term commitment. Sexual or physical desire is not an element of companionate love. This type of love is often found in marriages in which the passion has gone out of the relationship but a deep affection and commitment remain. The love ideally shared between family members is a form of companionate love, as is the love between close friends who have a platonic but strong friendship.
6.Fatuous love can be exemplified by a whirlwind courtship and marriage in which a commitment is motivated largely by passion without the stabilizing influence of intimacy.
7. Consummate love is the complete form of love, representing an ideal relationship toward which people strive. Of the seven varieties of love, consummate love is theorized to be that love associated with the “perfect couple”. According to Sternberg, such couples will continue to have great sex fifteen years or more into the relationship, they can not imagine themselves happy over the long term with anyone else, they weather their few storms gracefully, and each delight in the relationship with one other.[1] However, Sternberg cautions that maintaining a consummate love may be even harder than achieving it. He stresses the importance of translating the components of love into action. "Without expression," he warns, "even the greatest of loves can die" (1987, p.341). Thus, consummate love may not be permanent. If passion is lost over time, it may change into companionate love.
popjammerz: Everyone would of course love to have a consummate love - but it is as hard as reaching for the sky. If I can't have that, oh God, please let me at least have companionate love! Intimacy is always far more better than passion. Isn't it?
And now, Newton's Law Of lOVE!
Universal law: “Love can neither be created nor be destroyed; only it can transfer fromOne girlfriend to another girlfriend with some loss of money ”
First law: ” A boy in love with a girl, continue to be in love with her and a girlin love with a boy, continue to be in love with him, until or unlessany external agent(brother or father of the gal) comes into play andbreak the legs of the boy. ”
Second law: ” The rate of change of intensity of love of a girl towards a boy isdirectly proportional to the instantaneous bank balance of the boy andthe direction of this love is same to as increment or decrement of thebank balance. ”
Third law: ” The force applied while proposing a girl by a boy is equal and oppositeto the force applied by the girl while slapping.”
Why should the wedding ring be worn on the fourth finger..? Thumb represents your Parents ..Second (Index) finger represents your Siblings …Middle finger represents your-Self …Fourth (Ring) finger represents your Life Partner …& the Last (Little) finger represents your children …..
Because I know someone will read. :P Sometimes it's nice when you do some..crazy but not actually that crazy stuffs with friends. We went for mamak session outside of UPM and Dao sent us back at 12.02am. His car was too comfortable till we were not willing to get out. Conclusion:
So we stayed in his car till nearly 2am. We chatted. And we alternately chose songs. His player has super lots of nice songs, old and lovely songs!!! The aircond was great, and the pillow was so huggable!
It was a very nice chat. A nice laugh. And nice memory. Little little stuffs which might seem very normal to others but actually matters alot to me. It's these little simple time you spent together which adds spices to your life. Fortunately the UPM guard didn't pick on us when he passed by. Just a little imperfect because Ley Yee is not around. But what a nice connection, our first 'car talk' was at Ley Yee's few years ago; and now our 2nd 'car talk' at Dao's!
I love and treasure this kind of true genuine friendship.
I know I'm a bad girl. I scold people when I not syok them. I deng people when I totally not syok them.
But what can I do. I have temper too. I don't just stay quiet eating up the fuss all myself. I like to rant at my blog. Many people do.
I am just fortunate that my temper last for a while. And am grateful that I release out only at my blog and at people I am comfortable with. Because sometimes girls can be scary, and evil. Gladfully I won't be.
Well, everyone has temper, don't they?
I am not as gentle as girls who always speak in the most polite and gentle way. I am not like girls who are so gracious to accept everything. I am not like some girls who willingly do all the job and sacrifice like hell. Sometimes I really respect some of my girl friends who are really good girls, do not provoke people, do not scold, do not get angered, do things in the most right way etc etc... Too bad, I'm not as perfect as them.
I say what I think I want to say. Or you could say that I say at the instant what comes to my brain. To a certain extend it does hurt people. But so what. This is life. It's better to slap for the better, rather than a pat on the back just to make things 'look' better. It's better to say ' you totally sucks in that tank top' rather than 'not bad'. Where by sometimes 'not bad' is just an answer which doesn't carries any weight at all. Yet I'm learning, to convey in a better way when it comes to telling people. But if it comes to ranting at my blog or to friends, sorry, no mercy will be given. :P Ya, I AM cruel. Or let's just say that life is cruel.
I don't mind people being direct to the extend of hurting me either. It boosts you to be better, if you can take it. It's the force which makes you want to improve, if you really consider about what they say. But if you are a pessimist, oh my I think you might jump off the cliff.
People tell me "Rue you are fatter and fatter". You think I like it? But what to do it's my negligence which made me fatter, it's my attitude of not taking care so I can't blame anyone...and yeah, it makes me wanna slim down. Come on, friends who meet me and straight say "Rue you fat again lah!"are far more honest than "no la, you not fatter la..".
Consolation sometimes makes people worst, and feel worst.
*** Woke up with a dream which is bad because it just make me miss my best friend. It was a nice dream, a dream which brought back memories, a dream which brought back more love and friendship, a dream which I thought it was so true. Bye bye to the olden days.
***
Waking up knowing that someone is leaving Malaysia and I couldn't have the chance to say goodbye personally. I wept last year when you told me. And tears dropped too when I received your text yesterday. Bye bye to you and may you have a safe journey.

Went to Pink Triangle to deliver back our left overs and that marked the clean and clear finishing of HOPE. Post mortem was not a success nor a failure. I don't know whether do we call that a post mortem at all. Because so far as I know I've never been to a post mortem which ends so quick discussing about a 6 months project. I've never been to one where we never discuss about solutions. I've never been to one where we actually write down but wasn't read out and analysed together. I've never been to one where the problem is "too high risk" and conclusion was "next time don't take such risk". I've never been one where the chair's heart is not in it at all. Is this...a post mortem or a meeting or a gathering or a what? I've never been to one like that. I didn't want to speak but was hoping that the ex-PD would initiate a more constructive discussion, yet he did not. Anyway, I came to a conclusion that it is really confirmed that every meeting with him is meaningless, time-wasting and unproductive. So let's forget about it. There is nothing beautiful to remember. There is nothing more to bring up. And there is nothing more I will continue to deng. I dislike HOPE PD - he sucks, 18. I will close this chapter. Finally. :) Let me look forward to the better 2 projects to come, which I am so enjoying with the team and my beloved MyLDS PD which is someone I look up and want to learn from. Bye bye HOPE and may the next HOPE be a great one (with a good PD of course).

I had a dream after we finished concluding that we will forget about the old and focus on the new. What a dream. It was a nice closing ceremony with a specially made video screening, along with a nice music where a bunch of performers were performing sign languages with it. Quite vivid. Seems like I'm really yearning for a happy get together and end things perfectly. Nice dream, but my roommate woke me up with a "Rue-Hann go class lah!!". Bye bye dream....

~Reflections~ I've changed a lot compared to few years back ago. Well, it seems to be for the better, fortunately. Thank God. Yet some things still don't change. Sometimes your tearduct can't be controlled. Sometimes things you have been trying to hold on for a long time, trying to make things better with so much of effort put it, so much of hope, so much of prayer, yet it all ended in vain. I don't blame God. I know there's a reason for everything which happens. I miss him during my birthday, till tear drops on my slide handouts and smudged the words. When I was 16 years old Joseph told me his friend took 10 years to see a clear blue sky again. I still have 4 years more to go. I miss my Dad!!!
~Thanksgiving~ It's nice to be in this world for more than 2 decades. I can't ask for more but to thank the Lord. :) He has been gracious and kind even I've made mistakes, in times when I backslided. Looking back at everything which took place since then til now, I am very reassured that I am more than blessed than I can ever be. I see Him in my life. I see Him helping me. I see Him in my darkest time. Sometimes I am naughty and I leave Him alone while I enjoy myself, but I'm always glad He is still there when I needed Him. Thank you, Lord! :)
~Rejoicing~ For the better days to come. For the challenges ahead which might be bitter yet sweet in the end. For everything which has been planned and made for me, even I might not know what is it yet. For those who love me. For those who care for me. For those whom I love and care for too. A time to rejoice, for better times ahead!

Happy Birthday to 3 person who has the same birthdate as me:
Wei Ming, Jia Hao, Wen Chee.
22nd birthday seemed like far more better than my 21st.
Yeap went to eat at FullHouse (a cafe at Niu Ze Xui, petaling jaya.) last sunday.
Should post up earlier, haha. sorry!
It was awesome!!!
It's a lifestyle store and cafe. Yeap, very cool indeed. Many lifestyle deco and higher end toys are sold in there. A place most suitable for... youngsters like us!!!
The menu is very cute too! See? And yeah no worries, they have real pictures at the Ala-carte page. And as you can see, the price is - reasonable!!! Only RM14.90, excluding service charge of cuz!
I ordered "Thomas' Meal". It comes with first, a Cappucino Mushroom Soup.
Superb!!!! Who ever thought of cappucino mushroom soup man. Very thick and mouthy feeling, blends in well in your mouth!
Next is my main dish - Chicken chop. The chicken chop is very special, AND HEALTHY! Why I said so? Cuz it's grilled very nicely, and they actually served with mashed potatoes and chinese vegetables! Not the usual chips and salad! :P See? Colourful! :) Also, they sprinkled raisins on top of the chicken chop. RAISINS!!!
I think this is the best and healthiest chicken chop I've ever ate!
And yeah - my Ice Lemon Tea. You can see it - IT'S HUGE! And taste just nice! Not too sour, not too bitter! :) Lastly, the ice-cream! Yummy! Okay, the ice cream is so-so, just like any other ice cream. I reckon Johnny's ice cream is much better! But anyway, it's still edible! :P
All of those above - for only RM 15.90!!!
Not too filling till you feel bloated (which is not good for our health), but it tasted just nice, and very satisfying. We called their special sandwhich too! Full house sandwhich! Great too! Their potato wedges are far more better than KFC's!!!!
So people, if you have any chance dropping by Petaling Jaya, look out for Niu Ze Xui shopping street, and find FULLHOUSE. It certainly is a good place for you, being for a nice dine-in dinner, or a simple tea with friends! :)
Okay. Apart from studies, assignments, project, stupid exams..
Many stuffs I wanna post about but seems like I better post all in one shot.
Or not someone will be counting my posts again.. :P *hehehe* Okay! This bruise - got it when I played squash. The racquet hit me. :(
But my house maties were so lovely to help me massage!!! And it became like this - which is good. It means your blood clot is starting to spread out! :)
A sketch I drew while I was bored during class. It's one of my best friend's name. :P
I think I shud buy a sketch book instead of always drawing on teacher's handouts!
After like 10 years, I only realised I have a Burberry Bag!!!! I am so stupid!
Long story, very long! So cut it short - I was stupid that I hide it in my wardrobe until that day - I saw it! and I realised..it's Burberry..!! Seems like I always don't notice good stuffs around me!
:(
Went to Pizza Hut suddenly after a lecture. Wei ordered salad. With such a small flat plate we helped her to place everything inside, as much as possible! See how it towers!
Lovely Keychain I got from Harish when he bought the Maxis Broadband Wireless thingy.
It suits and goes well along with my adidas bag! :) 3 lil kittens cuddling together at my fac. And notice under the drain , there's another one!!! :)
4 new lives just came into Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences!! Me being too bored and too saturated of studying - ended up eating Shin Chan! As usual, my room is a place housematies love to gather!! :)
Life is always colourful everyday to me!
I really love how God has blessed me with such beautiful days!!! :)
May you be blessed too!
Stay tuned for my birthday updates!!! :)
Thanks to all who wished me yeah!
And Chua Cheong Hong asked me to announce that he wished me many many many times! :P
What a funny title. It was something what me and my friend was talking about. She goes for a person who is up to her requirement, and will eventually have feelings for him. Where as for me, I stress a lot on feelings. Eventhough a person might have all my requirements, if there's no feelings between - nothing will happen anyway. We were talking talking revolving this issue until both of us were blur. As usual, I came up with examples. Nida said I am good in giving simple examples for complicated situations. He he he! :P Just because I used "boyfriends" and "husbands" to differentiate "objectives" and "goals" for her.
It goes like this:
1: "I give you example lah, watermelon and mango which one will you choose? You know watermelon is better for health but you don't seriously like to eat watermelon a lot. If you eat it, it's like savouring without feelings. Empty. Right? Mine as well no need to eat it."
2: "But you can cultivate feelings as you know that it's good for your health ma"
1: "It's the same wan lah no matter how good a person is if there's no feelings nothing special will happen."
2: "But to me, when I'm attracted by his personalities and he fulfil my requirements naturally I will have feelings."
1: "Hmm..."
2: "Haiyor! The thing is you haven't try eating watermelon yet also!!!!"
1: "Hahahaha!!" ROFL.
note: Watermelon is just an example. I love watermelon a lot it's my favourite fruit!
I deng all the ants to crawl over you and bite you like hell. Sometimes I just don't understand. I don't, don't, don't understand. I don't understand why people can remain unchanged eventhough he's gone through a learning experience. I don't understand why people can act like that. I don't understand why people can continue to behave like that. I don't understand why people can just be like that. I don't understand why I still have the patience to remain quiet just to keep things cool.
Wait, I understand why I keep quiet.
Because if I start talking (and I mean really TALKING) , situation will be bad, real bad. And what's the use anyway, he never ever listens to people, or I could say people who he thinks he need not listen to - me. That's why I always reject the 'invitation' to me to raise an issue to him.
Tonight is a nice night with the olympics on but the news of how he treated things just scrapped the whole night off. I deng all the mosquitoes to feed on you till your skin dries off.
You know, I can be scary. But I choose not to. I can be as bitchy as some girls. But I choose not to. My blog is a place for me to rant, but I choose not to tell every detail of my rants.
I just want to share with you people, that sometimes there are people like this, who thinks they have much more important stuffs to do and neglects stuff which once seemed important to them.
Well, if I ever misunderstood this person... Wait, for a whole semester? That's impossible. I never misunderstood this person. First I thought I was the only one. Yet when there are more and more people started to rant like how I did, I phew-ed. He was just who he was, and he is who he was.
Even if I misunderstood this person, I don't care anymore. I admit that whatever which revolves about this person will always get negative feedbacks from me. Yeah, prejudice. Oh yay, I finally know how it feels like - prejudice. I tell you, I gao gao bias wan when it comes to this person name - whatever his name is.
It's hard when you want things to get better, it always get worst.
Yeap. Seems like friends, or at least people I know... are all into the entertainment world, or at least on TV, or at least on mag. Why ah?
AEC "Jiu shi lun shi"'s anchor is from my school. While I was form 1, she was asking me to join her debate team and asking Isaac to let me skip band lessons just to try it out. Even funnier, our moms are close friends.
My cousin's friend Christy, one whom I talked with a bit during last year's CNY. Was 1st runner up for Connetto Love Perhaps Reality TV show.
My friend Wan Ting, or more welknown as Tiffany, was 1st runners up for Astro Chinese pagent competition. And she has commercials and programs coming in.
Eric Lim, Malaysian's local singer or more known as Lin Jian Hui, is from my school! I've heard him singing on stage few times!
Debbie Lim, his sister was my ex's classmate - and now she's on Astro singing competition, and even went to kick 'Xing Guang Bang' and Taiwan!
One host for AEC program is my mom's friend's daughter too. So I keep on hearing about her stuffs as well.
Leona Chin was one of the drift queen and went on MYC! magazine. She was my ex-band mate while we were at high school. Cutie lil girl that time, didn't expect her to be so hot now!
Robin Lim and David Lai, even chun, nothing more to say about them..too geng. It's cool that they are really my friends and I'm so glad they helped me out throughout HOPE. :)
Why those people on screen are some people I know? Jason once said, "Wah our friends all become celebrity already!"
Yeah, going to man... Still have more to come!
I was pestering Ley Yee to work hard - be the next Rynn Lim Yee Chung. Since he's UM's "Yao Lan Shou" president and he's so good at music! :P I was pestering Nicholas to enter Astro because he really sings so well and dances so great! Always mesmerize me with his voice, yet he don't want. And a good news - Shermin was signed by a company already so I am so waiting for her to debut!!! Dunno when though. Well you know, all those companies...are like that. They let trainees wait for like, nothing. So you just have to work hard work hard! Wilson is training at Hai Luo I'm hoping he'll do his best!!! Even great news - CC's sister is a trainee at SM entertainment noW! At korea with dongbang and suju and SNSD all of them!!! SHI WON EVEN TALKED TO HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Shi Won!!!!!!!! I am so waiting for her debut!!!!!
I remembered saying that to me, a present is special when you never expect that that person will actually give you that present. Since I really started celebrating birthdays during form 2 til now, I received loads of presents. Yeah, some are really special. But, there’s one which is most unforgetable and utmostly special.
I won’t say that the present itself is special. Those were just CD-Rs. Now you’ll feel weird why I’m so happy about CD-Rs. The story goes like this:
It was year 2005. Ed wanted to treat me for dinner. Yet I die also don’t wanna go out on my birthday because I have a drama to chase on 8tv. But he was firm and said I have no other option. I have no choice. Okay fine. Reluctantly, on my birthday I waited at my house. When he reached, the first thing he did was he pushed a CD case into my hands, saying, “Nah, I’ve burned FullHouse for you already, you will not miss tonight’s episode already. And you don’t have to chase 8tv already lah!”. It was such a surprise!!! I was happy beyond words. Then we went to Modestos, an Italian restaurant. We both spent almost RM100! He pays the bill though, saying, “Worked part time, I got earning can belanja! If I never work I won’t belanja also lah~ Next time you belanja me Ah-Wa hokkien mee!”. As best friends, we chat and chat and chat until we went to the next round – Swenson’s. It was pretty funny where we just called a banana split and then keep on refilling our waters, just to borrow that venue to chit chat. Even funny when both of us kept on taking turns to go to the washroom – due to too much of fluid!!!!! At night, I watched FullHouse through the night till next morning. Episodes which I have to chase for the coming weeks, I did it in one whole night!
Now, whenever I look back at those CD-Rs, I’ll remember why I received this, how it made my whole birthday night so happy, and the whole night itself. The CD-Rs lead to a series of celebrations that night. If it weren’t for the CD-Rs, I will not leave my home because I want to chase my favourite drama. Even if I really went out, I’ll feel sad missing out a drama – for that time I don’t have any download engines yet.
This is my special birthday present. It’s the whole package of the present, which makes simple CD-Rs so special – which I’ll smile looking at it. Ed likes to burn CD-Rs for me, probably it’s because I rarely download stuffs. He gave me a burned drama as Christmas present again! Memories will always be memories. It’s nice to be nostalgic at times. We are always busy til we forget our friends, or even best friends. 3 years had past. I haven’t treat him Ah-Wa hokkien mee yet. I even wondered whether the restaurant is still there.
Been browsing on taglines. And I read this article:
Taglines by no means are critical to great communications. And there’s always been some debate in marketing circles over their necessity. However when done well, they become the messaging framework for everything an organization communicates. And can provide a memorable summation of your brand. Think “Just Do It” (Nike) or “Think Different” (Apple).
These taglines work because they’re both simple and relevant to the companies that use them. These are two companies that know where they fit in the universe and understand what people expect from them. They understand their strengths and use them to maximum advantage. Taglines are typically a manifestation of these qualities and the sign of a well run company.
Now, what of the flip side? When a company constantly changes taglines it’s usually a sign that the company doesn’t understand what it stands for. Or is merely reacting to forces around it - always responding to a competitor or market conditions.
It occurs to me that there's one AG I've learned on changing a tagline whenever you've upgraded. So, now what? I'm confused. But I still prefer to stick to one same original tagline for a brand. Yeah as usual, I'm a very loyal person. I stick to Nivea for my skin, I stick to Sunsilk for my hair..I stick to UPM eventho' I so feel like getting out of it! :P
Another nice source: I like to think of a USP as strategic and a Tagline as tactical. USPs define while Taglines summarize and sell. Now where things really start to get interesting (and powerful) is when you learn how to combine the two into what I refer to is a Core Marketing Message. The best Taglines actually include the USP and when implemented properly create a memorable and lasting enhancement to your brand. Following are a few examples are combined Taglines that include USPs:
* Circuit City’s tagline is: “Just What I Needed” and the USP is Choice * BMW’s tagline is: ”The Ultimate Driving Machine” and the USP is Quality * Amazon.com’s tagline is: “Earth’s Biggest Bookstore” and the USP is Choice * McDonald’s tagline is: “I’m Lovin It” and the USP is Experience * Skype’s tagline is: “The Whole World for Free” and the USP is Low Price
Anyway, do you have a tagline for yourself?
I came across this interesting one: "I love work. It fascinates me. I sit and look at it for hours."
"The Fly" movie's tagline is also cool. Simple yet scary. "Be afraid. Be very afraid" Hmmm..what about changing it to use it on me - " Be seduced. Be very seduced." Hahaha!!
"Love Story" movie's tagline is lovely. "Love means never having to say you're sorry" I wonder is it true?
And yeah, for leaders out there -this is for you: "The only safe ship in a storm is Leadership" - Faye Wattleton
And yeap, for everyone out there - this is for you: "Do you know that Popjammerz loves quotes and taglines?!"
She loves bookmarks, especially those with lovely quotes. Her favourite bookmark is from Jason. A nice bible verse, all the way from Australia! So people, if you don’t know what to buy for her– give her bookmarks!!!
“Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of choice.” One quote from a bookmark she received from her friend. This makes her remembered David Lai once told her “Happiness is not by chance, but by choice.” Do you agree?
I love blogging. I like to "talk", to tell my friends what I'm doing, to those who are overseas will get to know how am I here at Malaysia. :) (I've no time for msn)
But what will I do when I don't have time to post? I don't like people coming here without anything to read... I don't like posting a long long article as a summary of what I've done for a whole week.
Yeah so I used auto post when I'm free! Typed few posts, which will help me automatically post it on dates I want~ :)
I love doing this sometimes, when I'm bored or need a break. From facebook:
Lucky Color: Amber Personality Strengths: Fashion Sense, Innovation Personality Weakness(es): Impatience Successful Career Path: Fashion Sense of Humor Style: Cliched Adjectives to Describe You: industrious, enterprising Also born on August 15: Meet them now Description: Impulsive and unpredictable - you are awesome to be around as no one knows what exactly to expect! You keep your friends guessing and entertained with your unique perspective on everything around you! Different in every sense of the word, you are widely loved and respected.
I think it's quite true. Sze described me as unpredictable.
Regarding to my post title - yeah sometimes people like to be credited for the things they have done.
How do you feel when actually you are the only person who did it yet people thought that you and the rest did it together? Where by actually you slept lesser and they slept early because you were the only one doing it? Yet others thought you all did it together? Do you feel like clarifying?
But, sometimes I ask, why do we want to be credited so specifically? The main goal is to get things done, isn't it? If you don't care who gets the credits, you will definitely come up with a good product. Being selfish and greedy of self-credits will in turn make people think that you are always yearning for others to praise you.
However, it's quite confusing you know. Some people who are brave enough to let others know that they did it alone will actually lead them to greater heights because their efforts and products are recognised and people remembers it and the person!
Do you like to be a backstage person? or do you like to be the one in front grabbing all the limelight? or do you want to be a brave backstage helper, saying that you did the lightings, or you did the sound system - so that people could praise you by saying "Great lightings! Your sound system is very good!!!" ?
Sometimes it's not wrong to tell people you have done this you have done that. It is normal for people to yearn for recognition and appreciation as well as praises. Yet, for those who care tooooooo much for these, will stress themselves up.
Actually, I am confusing myself writing this! Hahahhaha!!!
Make it simple, an example: You and your girlfriends decided to buy a present for this guy. Your friends were busy, so they say they'll just pay for it. Yet you are busy too but are the one going around up and down, looking for the perfect present. You spend lots of energy and time on it. But you know you have to give a nice present because you hope the birthday boy will be happy. So you did it all.
When he received the present, he said to all of you: "Thanks so much for the presents! The present you all chose were super suitable la!"
Will you rush up to him and say "I choose it wan!!!" Or will you just keep quiet, as long as he's happy it's enough. You don't need to care who gets the credits. Which one will you do?
Well the best is if, your friends are smart enough to say : "She chose it." :P
Finally. I found something which will takes me to the heart of Czech Republic, Prague. And this opportunity will lead me to another opportunity to - South Korea.
Two best places of my life!!!! Revolving on one same thing! TEFL!
Yet, it's so sad when you know opportunities are there but you can't really go for it. Wrong timing. :( People like to say, when opportunites come to you, grab it. When opportunities don't come to you, go for it! What if the timing is wrong? What can I do? If it's about financial part, money can always be found. If it's about parents, you can always convince. But if it's about timing??? You can't change time, right?
I HOPE there's a MIRACLE which can realise my IMPIAN, if it's not now, it's ok to be later, just not too late. :P haha thx Harish~
For non-AIESECers, HOPE and MIRACLE are AIESEC UPM's project and IMPIAN is UM's. HOPE - focusing on HIV/AIDS MIRACLE - dealing with environmental issues IMPIAN - children!
Haha, Harish used those 3 names to quote out a sentence~:P
I don't often go to clubs. Yet we went to CocoBanana, partly to celebrate Shin and Lynn's comeback. Missed them so much! Since they said it's free of charge that day for women, so yeah I'll go.
The gang.
Inside. Taking a rest after a tiring dance.
Me and Dao, my personal driver, hired for free! :P
Me and Ley Yee. Someone who always gave me rides. Yeah when I used to stay at Megah, my house was so strategic that anyone can pick me up along the way. I don't have to drive! Being giving a lift is always the best! Although sometimes I like to drive..:P
Sze and me. Posing for fun. ;P
Anyway, it was a wonderful night with these pals. As always. :)
Talking about clubs, I seriously hate guys who come and pick up girls. (But I think to some people, that are what Clubs are meant for haha.) One of my friends was kena picked, he actually forced her to drink. That's such a useless strategy to pick up girls. No no. Offering a drink at the bar is much more polite than forcing her a drink at clubs. Sometimes I wonder why do people go to clubs to find new friends or blind dates. And there's this drunk guy or I think he took ecstasy pills, kept on shaking his head and dancing stupidly among us. We kept on dancing away but he just keep on following us! You know, if it's a lengzai I don't mind. :P (Bias betul, right?) I don't like seeing people dancing like that, they give me a feeling that they are lacking of something. :P
Anyway, going to club is boring. Some times I think it's kinda wasting time if you want to spend time with friends there, too. You can't really talk. Well, on the other hand, if you want to dance together with your peers and laugh for nothing, yea go to clubs. But, I rather go dancing a good dance of hip hop or freestyle with my friends in a proper studio room, or anywhere better; than simply shaking or doing sexy waves in crowded clubs which sometimes push you to the side where you have no place to dance at all.
That's why, that day out was best after the club. Because we went to mamak and spent the night at Shin's house!
